Welcome to

Headstone Green

Welcome to Headstone Green, Harrow

Headstone Green is a valued community green space in the heart of Harrow, where nature, wellbeing and local people come together.

Headstone Green is a Council-owned park, cared for by Harrow Council, with devolved responsibilities to the officially Council-recognised Park User Group, Friends of Headstone Green, and its elected Management Committee.

Blue Nest Montessori School, as part of its charity work, played an important role in helping to set up the group and continues to be fully involved in the development of the Green.

A designated Harrow Council officer oversees these devolved responsibilities.

The park offers open green space for recreation and relaxation, peaceful woodland walking and jogging trails, and habitats that support birds, pollinators and local biodiversity throughout the year.

Our volunteer community runs seasonal events, conservation days and family activities that bring neighbours together and care for the Green for current and future generations.

Everyone is welcome to walk, play, relax or get involved.

Our September 2025 community day, when local families came together to restore the Green, was our first taste of things to come.

No experience is needed, just a little time and enthusiasm.

We warmly welcome new volunteers and supporters of all ages, for as little or as often as you like.
